I love Geoff, I really do. He is passionate about gaming but is also professional. But him saying "Ya'll aren't ready for what is about to happen" is a very bold claim. It suggest a megaton of unknown proportions. The only things that I can think of that would deliver on such a promise are the reveal of the Nintendo NX, or the Xbox Scorpio as a full next-gen console or Half-Life 3. We'll see!

Why are no gaming sites speculating on a last of us 2 reveal? Seems pretty obvious this will be the big thing to grab the headlines outside of VR with no neo on show. For Sony obviously.

I think this was the biggest hint that they are.

It's been about 2 years since they stopped doing DLC for TLoU and ND is big enough to have more than one project on the go at once even if it's just a handful people coming up with early concepts.

I think it's pretty much certain that it is in development but talking about it on the Drivetime discussion last week and bandwagon kind of convinced me it won't be there. It seems more likely they will show the Uncharted story DLC and if they do say anything this year they'll save it for PSX.

True, Naughty Dog projects overlap, the were working on Last of Us while still developing Uncharted 3. Developers n different projects will sit next o each other too.

A brief teaser could get people hyped. I often complain about games being unveiled too early, but platform holders need to.

As its the first one i will probably catch it, but not expecting too much from them. I would like to see the new fifa running in realtime and the new mass effect.

I'm not expecting great things; i'm curious about battlefield but am expecting it to be the same old game with gas masks and biplanes over the top. I want to see them announce a new nfs which is even more cringey and garbage than last year's out of morbid fascination.
