Dear Nintendo,

All I want for E3 this year is a Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door remake. Surely that's not too much to ask. I promise that if you release then I'll definitely buy it.

Faithfully,
Rex

I would rather Paper Mario the something-something, but is like TTYD and not like the ones released after it.

Pretty similar to mine actually, but I'd put Beth at a 4 too...

Yeah, I think I meant to put a 5 for Bethesda. It wasn't "bad" - I enjoyed the Rage 2 and Prey sections and there were certainly big game names being bandied around - but we didn't get to see much (or anything, in some cases) of the other games. I probably would go with 5, but the November launch of a new Fallout game pushes it up a mark for me; even though I do have concerns about the gameplay.

You people and your scores for everything. What happened to a simple like it or

Microsoft had a lot of good stuff, while EA fell really flat. There was two very hype trailers in Microsoft's conference while EA had nothing. It's easy to see which I prefered.

Square-Enix have both Dragon Quest and Kingdom Hearts ready and waiting. Ubisoft always seem to have a surprise for something that'll interest me. Then Nintendo for the rest of the week.

4 for Bethesda seems incredibly harsh to me. I can kind of see where it comes from if you’re just after new games announced for this year though.

For me so far...

EA - 4
Microsoft - 9
Bethesda - 7
Devolver - 5

I appreciate what Devolver are trying to do but last years lingered a little too long for the humour and this year was pretty much a repeat, but the games weren’t as good. The Robocop stuff was good though.

I think that 4 is influence by me getting up to watch the damn thing only to find a load of teeny, tiny teaser trailers, a derivation of one of my favourite series that wasn't for me, and a bit of RAGE.

I'm not sure what they're going to do with Paper Mario. They double downed on Sticker Star's format with Colour Splash and it didn't do well-commercially or critically. It's obviously not what the fans want, and Nintendo do seem to be pretty receptive to that at the moment so who knows.

They probably just need to release a TTYD remake and see how it sells, I can almost gaurantee it'll outsell all of the sticker focused games which will kind of show which direction they need to head in, plus TTYD is superb :)
