Bethesda have already confirmed Starfield and ESVI won't be at the show.

I'm expecting CP2077 will be playable behind closed doors, and that we'll get another walkthrough or featurette.

I'm expecting a pretty rubbish one this year due to the imminent arrival of new tech next year. Probably won't be staying up to watch any of the the conferences except maybe MSs.

MS's is on at 10pm UK time so it's not too late.

Halo Infinite with massive mp mode.
Ninja Theorys new IP shown, possible release date this year.
Fable 4 teaser trailer

Can't see it being a particularly good one this year.

Pretty much this

I remember E3 2012 being particularly rubbish, Sony had nothing great to show except for The Last of Us, Microsoft's conference was Don Mattrick and Kinect crap, the only ones that had anything interesting to show were Nintendo.

Splinter Cell.

And a load of remakes.

Sony
One of those state of Play Nintendo direct like presentations that will show off trailers for all upcoming games, and probably a few unannounced stuff.

Nintendo

A Direct focusing on the games, showing loads of trailers and release dates for stuff maybe a new switch design or 3ds successor.

Third Parties
Ubisoft will probably be the best third party showing with loads of new titles announced, hopefully Watch Dogs 3 and maybe another Nintendo Ubisoft tie in.

Ubisoft will probably have the most interesting conference. Splinter Cell alone could clean up.

In past years I've gradually got more excited about the show each time... but it feels like E3 is diminished now and I'll probably just catch up with stuff afterwards.

That sounds a bit grumpy, I know. Perhaps my view will change and I'll end up watching every presentation  .

I start off like this every year. Then a week before the Nintendo Direct I’ve got a first class overnight ticket on the Hype Train with permission to sit in the driver’s seat occasionally.

Should be a good one this year for Nintendo fans, after last year’s... Smash thing. Lots of games to talk about, and with the Switch entering the prime of its life I’d expect a good few new announcements as well.

Or they’ll do an hour on Animal Crossing, one of the two.

What I'm expecting from Nintendo:

Focus of the Direct to be Pokémon Sword/Shield and Animal Crossing reveal and blowout. I'm also expecting a heavy emphasis on Mario Maker 2 during E3 but think it's likely it'll just be a trailer in the Direct with lots of hands on stuff at Treehouse instead.

Also, expecting new trailers and release dates/windows (if not already confirmed) for Link's Awakening, Fire Emblem Three Houses, Luigi's Mansion 3, Astral Chain and Daemon X Machina. Think all those will be playable in Treehouse too, so there will be plenty of hands on stuff. I also think LM3 is going to have a big online multiplayer mode which will get a mixed reception.

I predict it every year but I think we'll finally see Retro's new project unveiled and this will be their big announcement for this E3. I don't think it'll be a new IP but I think it will be a surprise to everyone. Outside chance of one of Monolith's new projects too but it's probably too soon.

I think we'll get some DLC info-something confirmed for Yoshi and Smash DLC characters 2 and 3 revealed, with 2 getting shadow dropped after the Direct. Nothing on Super Mario Party though.

I also think we're going to get another surprise third party use of a Nintendo IP. I'm certain Mario x Rabbids 2 is coming but I don't think we'll see that until next year's E3.

Finally I think we'll get another Wii U port revealed for later in the year, Pikmin 3, much to the annoyance of all of us waiting for Pikmin 4.

I think MS is about to kick the door down this E3. They have the most to prove and they know it.

Sony are gonna be a bit more low key with a potential stream. I don't really see them going all out, they have their own roadmap to follow.

Nintendo will be Nintendo in the most Nintendo way possible. Treehouse live will be dope as usual.

Square Enix might steal the show, depending on how much they decide to go in with FFVIIR and if they potentially announce a new FF for next gen.

Ubi is almost certainly doing another Nintendo Collab. Something with F-Zero.

A few little things for now:

Resident Evil 3 remake (sounds like its coming next year so this would be the ideal time to show it off. The thing that bothers me most is that Capcom outsourced the game to another studio which I find a bit worrying.)

Splinter Cell - It's time, like really time for a new one. Will be disappointed if it’s open world. It doesn’t have to be open world to be a good game.

Rayman

EA to drain the life out of us all. Like every other year.

I’m going to try and not predict anything too wild, only really focused in Nintendo related stuff which seems to be the norm these days.

A couple of must sees for Nintendo have to be Animal Crossing Switch, Pokémon Sword/Shield and Luigi’s Mansion 3 gameplay. A remake of something is probably on the cards. Hopefully they’ll give plenty of release dates for the above as well as Zelda Link’s Awakening remake. I’d love to have the next mainland Zelda teased as well, even if it is a couple of years out. Hard to call what third party support might be like or if the Switch might get any exclusives past Ultimate Alliance 3 in July.

Most years it almost always ends up disappointing. This year will be filled with Animal Crossing and Pokemon with no Sony first party content particularly.

This year is going to blow.
