Thanks for doing all this Cheeky, those are great!

It sounds like my mic sometimes didn't come through very clearly -- sorry about that chaps, my bad. EDIT: Sound quality overall apart from my mic is good though Cheeky, good job! :)

Yeah I tried to boost your audio a bit, but it's still a bit shakey in places.

Not your fault at all man, all mine. If I was still doing voice based stuff regularly I'd buy a better mic, but for a one-off I had to make do. Cheers for trying to clean it up though.

By the way, when the Nintendo one goes up in the OP I'll make this a sticky for a while maybe? Just to increase its exposure like.

That's cool man. It wasn't too bad for the most part.

But yeah a sticky would be good. :D

Looking forward to what people had to say about MS.

Don't need to hear that PC trash.

Just listened to the opening 30 mins of the MS one, very good. Like the way you have footage in the background.

I completely missed e3 basically due to wedding and stuff so I'm enjoying these.

The setup for the MS one I'm watching is near perfect. I don't even own an xbox one (neither half the commentors it seems ) but then MS are doing more PC cross releases. Yeah the footage in the background is nice because I wouldn't necessarily sit through either a podcast with no visuals or a tonne of trailers that can get very tiresome with the clichéd music, voice overs and corporate stuff over and over again. I also like how everyone says sorry, reminding you this is a UK production :) and generally it's nice to hear voices and with such informed, sincere yet also personable and individual commentary. Much better than the slightly canned, PR trained stuff like E3 Live and Treehouse, with grating American voices. It's a bit like watching Netflix too much and then watching something on the BBC, it's refreshing. I also feel that Eurogamer in a similar comparison try a bit too hard to emulate the big US video sites. It's also nice to have different people popping in and out for each video. I'd like to do similar things in an open format in the future.

Oh and I'm casting the whole thing youtube on my wii U. Grcade video on my TV! Brilliant. :)

Is really like to see/do more stuff like this. Proud of you guys!

Thanks Gecko!

Just an update on the remaining three videos.

Due to some uploading issues I've had to restart the Ubisoft upload. I should have it available in the next few hours, with Sony a couple of hours behind that.

Nintendo is currently encoding and will be available to all by the morning.

I'm not having a good day with this. Ubisoft upload keeps shitting the bed. Gonna get Sony done first then try it again later.

Absolute waste of a strawberry floating day.

Every upload I've tried has failed. I actually think it's Virgin applying their traffic management shite onto my already strawberry floating woeful connection.

Which pisses me off no strawberry floating end. Woe strawberry floating betide you actually make proper use of the bandwidth and gooseberry fool that you pay for.

What annoys me more is that I'm back at work tomorrow and I'd hoped to have all this done by the morning so I could spend today relaxing and catching up with the rest of the E3 stuff I'd missed. Fat strawberry floating chance.

It'll be tomorrow before I get any of this stuff up now guys. Sorry.

Don't worry mate. If you still own an optical drive.. I'd be happy to send postage for a DVD to do the upload here. I think we're on over 50mbps upload at my co working space. Or an old USB stick. It might sound crazy, but people in business literally send usb sticks around in special deliveries to get around our country's crap Internet.

Also, it might seem like an absolute ballache, but the way Dropbox works, uploading files in small parts and being very good at pausing/resuming uploads, its own traffic management etc, it can be a good way to get something online even if someone else has to do the actual sequential upload to youtube. Because you at least know it's accessible somewhere and even half an upload is better than starting again from scratch - Dropbox is very clever at figuring out which parts of a file it needs to upload/repair, a bit like torrents. A browser based upload just can't do this, which is why they fail so much. If there's a problem with your upstream connection for even a moment, the whole thing dies.

It is unfortunately one of the many problems with our archaic Internet structures in the UK. :(

It seems to be back to normal now.

I think it was traffic management as I started it all when I got up today and while it went well for a while I think I was just uploading too much within "Peak" period so it throttled everything. I've started it again and it's done 4% in the time I'd have been lucky to see 1%. Should be ok overnight I think.

Thanks though Gecko.

No problem. Traffic management is a bitch. Over subscription should be outlawed.

A friend of mine who lurks here emailed me the following feedback (If he's reading: I hope you don't mind me posting it so that Devlin can see it!):
Karl's friend wrote:Just watched your PC post-mortem. I hadn't watched the conference, so, good stuff! Lots of interesting commentary from all of you. I was impressed by Cheeky Devlin's chairing as well. I'll look forward to the Nintendo conference one.

It's good to hear some reaction. What I love is that everybody's voice and accent is distinctive making it much easier to listen without having to concentrate on who is saying what! I've listened fully to the MS one and snippets of the just posted Sony one, all had good points to make. I was a bit more nervous than I should have been but I'm hoping that's first time nerves! Overall good stuff, Cheeky was a good host and deftly handled everyone so they could all share their opinions. It was nice to hear the voices behind these GRcader names i've seen for years! I will listen to the others as I catchup with the conference.

Cheeky, I've edited the audio for one podcast and know how much work that is so for you to do this x6 with video was a really big effort - well done. Image I have a couple of questions: How did you get the text on-screen to match the people talking, I'm assuming you didn't do that manually? Also, the videos on YouTube are Unlisted meaning people outside this thread won't be able to discover them - is that intentional? Anyway good work and if you ever want someone to talk on the next podcast I would be happy to help.
