5/10

A lot better than past years and they had plenty to show but none of it was particularly interesting. Nothing truly original or innovative. At least they seem to be trying to salvage some credibility with the indie crowd.

I had already decided that I wouldn't be buying one regardless of the games we would or wouldn't see and so far it doesn't seem like I'll be be missing out on anything.

Oh, and the price. But D4 and Below looked great, and TitanFall was a decent (if non-exclusive) closer.

I echo these sentiments.

In terms of what is wanted from an E3 conference they nailed it. Forget that you didn't like the games, I can't remember the last time we had a conference where for the majority it was nothing but games. No stupid graphs, no stupid kids, just games and that has to be commended.

I'd give MS a 7.

Quite a lot of the games didn't interest me and I didn't see enough of their new IP to really get excited. Titanfall looked great, Halo had be tingling and I think I'll like Quantum Break. Other than that it didn't really push my buttons.

Oh wow done a games company showed some games, let's applaud them for that. Nevermind them being almost universally uninteresting, non-exclusive and at times low fps (ryse), that doesn't matter because they remembered to show more games than in the past when launching a strawberry floating console.

8/10 - had guns

What a wanker

You must have forgot about seeing Killer Instinct, D4, Crimson Dragon, Spark, Quantum Break, Ryse, Witcher 3, Below, Dead Rising with that gun comment so well done to you for ignoring it.

Yeah ignore the fact that uninteresting, non-exclusive and at times low fps (ryse) accounts for most of the rest and the others (QB, D4) were just a cutscene

8/10 had games

Sorry for not being excited at an intrusive and expensive piece of gooseberry fool with uninteresting games, take Dead Rising, all of the good aspects of the series are gone.

Microsoft 8/10

Only loses points for some games not particularly interesting me. As a show it was very very well done. Pretty much exactly the kind of show gamers have been crying for for years

EA 6/10

Mostly a snoozefest, but worth watching for ME2, BF4 multiplayer and new Battlefront. The sports section was awful. All those strawberry floating buzzwords. :fp:

EA - 5/10

Would have like to see a bit more of Battlefront but ME looked good. BF4 meh, DA:I ehhhh and everything ruined by EA Sports.

EA - 6

Sports games section went on way too long and announced nothing of interest (tbh what the strawberry float is there to do at this point), BF4 looked alright, better than COD at least. TitanFall and ME were the highlights.

EA: 6/10

Too much of a focus on sports for me, nice to see Mirror's Edge 2 announced.

EA - 5/10, played it far too safe this year.

EA - [5]. Started strongly, finished strongly, almost nodded off in the middle until that bloke started shouting and then my eyes glazed over for a bit anyway. Very safe. Also featured the most polite game of Battlefield ever. Though that building collapsing looked pretty sweet.

Microsoft - 9/10. They literally couldn't have done a better press conference. Probably the best one they've ever done.

EA - 5/10. Too many teases of things they didn't show and the sports stuff is stupid now (just show the actual gameplay already). Battlefield 4 and Mirror's Edge were obvious highlights but not enough.

MS is a 9 for me where they get 8 for how exciting I felt the games were, but a 9 for the relentless focus on core gamers across a decent spread of genres.

EA was a 7. I liked the look of Fifa. Battlefield MP level looked great too as did Titanfall.

Would have been higher if we had seen more of ME2 and Star Wars.

I think EA's conference if i read up a summary of it - Battlefield, Dragon Age, Need for Speed, Mirrors Edge 2, Titanfall, Battlefront - it sounds like a good showing on paper. But the actual delivery of the show was a little disappointing. I love my football and sports but the EA Sports section just seemed to drag on for way too long. ANd then stuff like Dragon Age, Mirrors Edge and Battlefront we didn't get to see enough of. Overall i'd say 6/10. Decent roster of games shown but quite a poor delivery.
