I'm not buying it though.

Hopefully, this post is allowed without Moggy criticising it.

Parksey wrote:Battlefront 2 is a good game that was strawberry floated over by the microtransactions. The problem is, the game's model was based entirely around that, and they were going to be what paid for all the free DLC they had planned.

It's no surprise that since they borked everything, updates and new content has been thin on the ground. It'll not get the support it needs if it's not bringing in any cash.

Like I said, the game itself doesn't deserve to die, just the way it's been treated since before launch.

The game deserves much better than the appalling treatment that EA gave it. While it's still not quite what I want from Battlefront II (especially given the mods on the 2005 version), there is a lot of potential and it does a great job of making you feel like you're in a huge battle from the movies. Speaking of which, where the hell is the Death Star DLC from the first game? I played that pretty much exclusively once it was out.

It's a shame that EA couldn't look at Overwatch or Counter-Strike to make money from cosmetics instead of trying to sell a pay to play game for $60. While those titles have their own infamy around loot boxes, at least they didn't give those with the biggest wallets a cutting edge in gameplay. I have to say, I enjoy it a lot more now that I've unlocked weapons that I can use effectively than I did at the start. My heroes are still not well equipped so they get slaughtered while other players decimate the action with theirs.

I think this may be the most passionate and real game showcase in E3 history.
She may not be the most polished but she obviously loves the game.

It looks like Submerged, a little, but hopefully not as average. Aesthetically it looks lovely.

You’d have to be a bellend to buy NBA Live 19 over 2K19.

I'd rather buy tiddlywinks 2019 epic edition than either of them.
