When they’ve got to sit with Zampella in the crowd, where he’s giving off a vibe that he would literally rather be anywhere else in the world than there, you know they’re light on content. And mobile gaming? Bullying charities? What is this? And to end on Anthem which doesn’t look as good as it used to? No no no no.

strawberry float Each, terrible conference and terrible looking games.

Anthem was inevitably downgrading and that mobile only C&C can strawberry float right off.

I have only read the summary for this and it looks like it was pretty bland as to be expected, although I see they aren't having another go at Need for Speed which I suppose is a blessing, maybe they've finally let it go off to the scrapheap in the sky with what little grace it has left.

Feel like they've missed a trick not going with Jedi Knight: Fallen Order. Jedi Fallen Order doesn't half read awkwardly. Pretty poor they couldn't even scrape a trailer together for E3, too. Why even bother announcing it.

Remember the Battlefront announcement, where they at least did something to say - we're doing this.
When it does finally get a trailer, though, I'm expecting it to be as good as The Force Unleashed ones. Or maybe even the original The Old Republic ones.

It was a bad conference, not really sure what is going on with EA, they should stop with having EA play and go back to just being part of the standard E3 convention

That was a definite "please be excited" moment.

Also, I still can't get over the fact that they said it was... paraphrasing here but "Changing the way we do this"
You've been doing that for the last few years EA. Remember that one time you changed it up to be showing games still in the concept stage and then changed it up again the next year to not be doing that?

There's already been a series called Jedi Knight though, seeing as they are presumably not related, they probably thought that wouldn't be a good idea.

You don’t need to because I’m already so offended that I feel I should write EA a bloody darn stern letter. Seriously what the hell are they thinking. I’ve kinda accepted that they’ve destroyed C&C over the years but now it’s like they are just trolling people.

Battlefront II was the best game at EA's event, somehow. :slol:

Just caught up on the conference.

Anthem looks cool and I'm keen to see more. I love that the additional payments are focussed upon cosmetic items and that you pay for the item you want rather than grapple with randomised loot boxes.

Beyond that, though, there was nothing that floated my boat, personally. I know I'm in the minority, but I would have liked to have seen a new Need for Speed game announced.

As if Command and Conquer 4 wasn't bad enough. And as if they didn't announce Generals 2 years ago, then strawberry floating cancel it.

I thought Unravel Two and SOS both looked good.

I don't know what you guys have against the C&C mobile game, other than its a mobile game and you want a PC game. It is what it is, on that basis it looked like it could possibly be decent.

Anthem looked a bit ropey, but they've got time to polish and the game itself sounded interesting.

Also, we wanted a proper RTS game with expansive maps and strategy and gooseberry fool, rather than a "capture the missile launcher" game.

That's what I was getting at. Another Jedi Knight game would get me more interested from an announcement of nothing but a name.

Wouldn't make any difference, replacing Peter Moore with Andrew Wilson (the Aussie guy) was a terrible idea, they haven't had a penny off me this gen.
