PostEBAY - do u ever ship to bidders abroad when selling?

I currently have a game for sale on ebay ending in a few hours time. Been getting messages from buyers in Italy and Portugal.
Is it a good idea to let them bid? they are willing to pay extra shipping charges. But I am not sure about customs etc

Depends on the value I'd say. I was happy to sell my copy of Secret of Mana to a guy in Greece as the bidding went up to about £140 - I don't think I would have got that for a UK only auction.

I just made sure he was ok with the £12 signed for, insured postage.

Thanks for the info. I've put UK only on all my listings now. just can't be bothered with the hassle if I am going to get the same price from a UK buyer.
I also found out that no import tax/vat needs to be claimed when shipping within the EU
thanks again

Yip.

Most places except Africa, Italy and Ireland.

Those countries/continent I don't send to because they've been a pain in the arse several times in the past so I've removed them.

I also put in the postage details that I won't post to those countries so don't bid or email for postage details.

Everywhere else is fine, I've got a weighing machine and its easy enough to find out postage costs through RM or a courier.

The oppressed are allowed once every few years to decide which particular representatives of the oppressing class are to represent and repress them in parliament.

Surprised to see Italy and Ireland there... infact someone from Italy emailed me asking about my game. Luckily I declined.

yeah I use the kitchen scale and RM's website to find out costs.

Be careful with Italy, it is very easy for Italian users to scam people and get away with it due to some loopholes or something.
