I don't want to have to buy Infinite Space, stop giving it good scores.

Seriously, there's an incredible lack of professionality in this review. Edge, like many other reviewers stop showing all this praise for a garbage game like bayonetta because is irritating gamers. You are not credible.

I think we should start a revolution.

A score free utopian future? Meaning people would actually have to read gooseberry fool.

IT'LL NEVER WORK

Oh, and poor mitch.

Hell, even Fallout 3 recieved a 7 from Edge.

I was about to say "no it didn't" before I checked online - jebus :o

It's strange... the review text does highlight the gripes I have when playing the game especially the map system but the main thing is that I'm enjoying Fallout 3. And heck the review said it isn't a wasteful time either.

Especially Just Cause 2 and Alice In Wonderland.

And good news for Winterbottom.

Didn't find any of those particularly surprising. Alice in Wonderland (on DS the version reviewed) always looked interesting and has been getting decent scores elsewhere, Just Cause 2 had 7 written all over it.

For me the most 'wrong' score there (and no I haven't played most of those games yet), is the Yakuza 3 one. Was thinking they might surprise and go the other way on it.

I know it's no God of War 3 or Final Fantasy XIII, but I wouldn't call it a minor release either. I mean, if they do make a review for Alice in Wonderland DS...

I think they reviewed it last ish. Gave it a 5 if I remember rightly. Of course, I may not be remembering rightly.

GamesT0M gave it a 5. It's blatantly worth more than that. It's actually a really well made racer, featuring great graphics and a pretty deep racing mechanic. The whole drift boost thing reminds me of MK64 and the orange smoke waggle thing.

Most of the negative reviews have pretty much dismissed it as a kiddie cash in. (Eurogamer in particular, have been pretty banana splitish and were shown up in the comments section for their 'review')

Well, they would have if the reviewer thought it was a better game, obviously. "Anyone who thinks otherwise is clueless."

Loving the totally needless damage control, incidentally. Imagining that the game could literally have done NOTHING to get a 9 or 10 is utterly ridiculous.

The strawberry float are you on about? I'm referring to the fact that every single other review says it's really just a next-gen God of War 2. Not saying the game couldn't have done better if it was different, I'm saying the finished product was never going to outscore the last offering by 2 or more points. You're the one with the imagination here, son.

GFW Magazine did that, but promptly brought the scores back a a few issues later due to the amount of grief they got from readers.

If they were to drop scores, "Edge 214 Final Paragraph Summing Up" doesn't have the same catchiness as a topic title. Someone should try it the other away around and just give scores to games, no review text.

Might have been handy saying that in the first place, son, rather than swearing at me for responding to what you actually wrote.

Does this sort of thing happen on with film reviews? I don't know, I've never been on a film board...

You should have been on IMDB's Avatar board during Oscar night.

It was ridiculous.
