Unfortunately my brother in law can't say the same. I've gone over his story in the Relationship thread (met a girl from Bali online, she came over, within a week she was pregnant and now they're getting married. Yeah) but his fiance is utterly unwilling to see games as anything other than a childish playtime for men. She constantly belittles and complains about his playing, and refuses to understand that it's a huge part of who he is.

So yeah. That's going well for him.

The moment my girl says to stop playing games is the moment I will be single again.

But my GF doesn’t mind, thank the strawberry float. As long she have her emmaradale fix.

I think most young people play some games now a days, it's honestly more surprising when I meet someone with a negative attitude towards them. I was really surprised when at my last workplace I mentioned to a guy my age that I play games and he just snorted and said "what are you a baby"?

But this guy was literally a 55 year old trapped in a 25 year olds body in terms of his hobbies and interests.

Out of all the men I know under the age of forty, those who don't down some kind of gaming device are a definite minority. That said, most of them go through a fraction of the amount of games I do.
