It's a good idea, I'll email them.

But favouring one sex discriminates against the other, by definition. The policy should be for all.

It's always between Labour and Conservatives here so went Labour in all with Green as secondary choice.

Pretty telling that you had to delete half my post in order to write this in response, isn't it?

The context and broader ideological intent behind the policy does actually matter, and you know that deep down else you wouldn't have bothered slicing it out.

Not voted yet, but will be reluctantly voting Lib Dem for local council, and Labour for both mayor and PCC, as the best options for blocking the tory candidates.

That's poor. You should at least take the time to spoil your ballot paper as a very last resort. Or just vote for the greens because you must know they're not banana splits.

Last I read, the Greens had this crazy policy that only men go to prison. I wouldn't vote for that.

I'm not sure that local councillors have the power to pardon prisoners.

I live in a tory stronghold so my vote wouldn't matter anyways unfortunately.

I signed up for postal voting for the first time for this election, it's great. I'm never going to a polling station again.

I completely forgot. I'll need to sign up next time for sure.

I probably would have forgot to but I had some lib dem canvasser call my house phone who arranged for a postal voting registration form to be sent to my house when I said I'd vote lib dem.

I live in a hideously Tory part of the country so I’m torn between voting for Labour or the Green's pro-OrangeRKN face punching policy.

All the political party candidates around here are the same old group who have been useless for years, so i voted for a couple of independent candidates this time.

I know but it demonstrates some pretty wacky thinking in the party. But it's good to know they'll never be in a position to implement said policy.

It's good news that they don't have the policy you claimed then.

CJ381 Recognising the nature of the female prison population, with high levels of mental illness, experience of being a victim of crimes such as sexual assault and domestic violence, and caring responsibilities for children, the only women who should be in custody are those very few that commit serious and violent crimes and who present a threat to the public.

Absolutely this. Just asked the wife and she agreed as well.

Not voted yet and not sure if I will depending how long work drags on for, but if I do go I'll be spoiling my ballot, only election in my area is police + crime commissioner so will be taking it as an opportunity to stick in some Kill The Bill sentiment rather than endorse the cops.

Labour. I would have like to have voted Green to help raise their profile but thought it best to put my vote to trying and get the Tories out. I hate having to vote tactically and would rather be in a position to vote for who I wanted to but here we are.
