Predicting a hung parliament, some sort of cross-party collaboration (not a formal coalition), a second referendum and a glorious victory for Remain.

If the "mainstream parties" had been better then there would have been less need for the SNP revolution.

But at the same time there used to be a solid return of 40+ seats for Labour in Scotland, if that were still the case we would have stood a decent chance of avoiding the gooseberry fool storm of the last 10 years. :x

I don’t think that’s true, adding together Labour and SNP doesn’t make a majority.

But it does mean the rest of the UK could be screwed if/when Scotland leaves as it’ll be harder for Labour to get any coalition up and running.

Then to be perfectly blunt, the major Westminster parties shouldn't have treated north of the border like political poison or the proverbial red-headed stepchild for most of my lifetime.

Absolutely, that's why I said that.

Yeah it wasn't aimed at you tbf, more of a general comment.

That's more hopeful than what I am actually expecting, but I can't bring myself to type out a crushing Tory victory.

What exactly has Westminster done that’s so awful for Scotland? Aside from Brexit which to be fair is a strawberry floating catastrophe. Does Scotland not get a more than its fair share from tax revenues and have a bunch of subsidised stuff (Education / Prescriptions?) that the rest of the country doesn’t get?

Just to add some exposition; Tory gains in Scotland will be wiped out, as well as losing some key battlegrounds to Labour. SNP will be the main beneficiary of Tory apathy. Lady Caroline will retain Brighton Pavilion. Lib Dems will continue to be insignificant.

The MRP showed Tories holding onto Scottish seats didn't it?

I'm pretty sure all 13 of them voted against the Letwin amendment, so it's absolutely crazy the Scottish public are happy to put their faith in people that would happily risk the future of the country for their party, given how damaging a no deal exit would be for Scotland.

I'm surprised some are predicting any Brexit party MPs.

Think Herbi was closest overall.
