Having semi attempted to disown or disassociate at least once I wholly understand this. But even then somewhat feel it is less of a predicament, considering how public the dick-headedness is, when that is normally reserved for private affairs (and that's part of why it's so shitty, because nobody "gets it", having not experienced it).

Totally OK that these things are still just in public beta testing.

As impressive as it is if you can both launch and land a rocket back on earth - not that I expect the same technology is used to direct a car - there is one key difference. There's strawberry floating no-one else in space, so it's a bit of a low risk proposition in terms of public safety. Plus, astronauts know the risks.

"But that is not OK."

Wonder if he's cashed out his original shareholding before confirming he isn't proceeding.

That 1 billion withdrawal fee will seem cheap if he loses the court case and is compelled to purchase the basket case.

It sucks for us, because in a perfect world he wouldn't buy. The issue is the twitter brand has been damaged somewhat by him and the shareholders want a big payout so they're suing him lol

I don't know it'd be funny if he has to sell Tesla to buy Twitter.

So this definitely wasn't a dump, pump and run, right?

What are the chances if the stock price dropped he buys in at a low while talking all this bullshit.

It's his only good move as he might have to buy at his stated price unless he can take over enough of Twitter to control the board, although even then he might face class action.

Yeah even if he bought enough stocks to take over the board and withdraw their lawsuit he would likely still face a class action from stakeholders for all kinds of contrivances, manipulation, bad faith dealings etc. including from those that he replaces or fires from the board.

Basically a massive case of dicking them around.

I really don't understand the almost cult following people seem to have about him as if he's some sort of God.
