Tesla's founder Elon Musk wiped $14bn off its value after tweeting its share price was too high in his opinion.

The tweet also knocked $3bn off Mr Musk's own stake in Tesla as investors promptly bailed out of the company.

"Tesla stock price is too high imo," he said, one of several tweets that included a vow to sell his possessions.

After the stuff he said about Covid-19 he's decided to wreck his company. At this rate he'll be walking around naked by the end of next week.

Isn't this the second or third time he's managed to do this?

Reading through his tweets it's actually depressing how many people still see him as some kind of hero.

Besides Space X he's not really even doing anything innovative anymore. Tesla is quickly being supplanted now that almost every car manufacturer are getting on the Electric car bandwagon at way more reasonable prices. About the only unique feature left of Tesla is the Autopilot, which isn't even licensed for use in most countries as a fully autonomous driving system, and doesn't exactly have a fantastic track record having been the direct cause of several deaths by now.

Anyone who goes with the whole "US Freedom!!!!!!" mantra about the virus situation really just loses all credibility in my opinion.
