So "the red pill" is a reference to that bit in the Matrix where you, like, take the pill to choose to see the world how it really is.
Creepy angry internet men appropriate the term "the red pill" for, basically, accepting the "reality" (ugh) that all women are bitches / sluts / etc. They believe in "alpha males" and "treating 'em mean" and idolise various "pick-up artists" who invariably turn out to be rapists and so on. Their belief system gets more intricate (and more crazy) the deeper you dig but you get the idea.
There are a couple of possibilities as to why Elon Musk is tweeting it. He might genuinely think the above, or he might be seeking approval from his terrible fans who think the above. I feel like it's probably the former as he is a massive shitbag.
Amusingly, a common interpretation of The Matrix is as an allegory for being trans (both its creators transitioned) and that the red pill actually represents oestrogen therapy. Anyway, that's part of why it's so funny that Lilly Wachowski (one of those creators) openly told him to strawberry float off. She must be sick of her work being referenced in that way!

Take the red pill and finally realise you're being controlled by the government/media/Jews/liberal elite/my little pony/whatever the bellend posting it hates at the time.

Lex-Man wrote:When it comes to the red pill it's a bit of both. The fedora-wearing misogynists have their red pill which seems to be the dominant force in the use of the term. But it's used by Flat Earthers, 9/11 Truthers and other assorted conspiracy theory sub groups to refer to their own flavour of crazy.

I wonder what the anti-vaxx equivalent is

Elon Musk still supports Kanye West's bid for the presidency, but he thinks West would be better off in the 2024 election.
Musk told Page Six's Mara Siegler that he still backs West, despite a deleted tweet in which he appeared to waver in his support. West participated in a Q&A with Forbes last week in which he called vaccines "the mark of the beast" and said Planned Parenthood was placed in cities by white supremacists to "do the Devil's work." After the piece was published, Musk tweeted — then deleted — that he and West "may have more differences of opinion than I anticipated."
