End-user Licence to Kill - the best James Bond videogame?

Following the announcement of a new Bond game from IO Interactive I thought it a good time to look back over the franchise's frequent forays into the world of videogames. From classics such as GoldenEye (1995, Tiger Electronics) to modern AAA masterpieces like GoldenEye: Rogue Agent (2004, EA Los Angeles), everyone's favourite state sanctioned assassin and all-around womaniser has graced many a console's library, but which is YOUR favourite game?

I think I've only played two James Bond games, GoldenEye 007 on N64 (briefly, I never owned it at the time of the console) and the less-favoured 2010 game of the same name on Wii. The Wii game is aggressively forgettable, while the N64 game has aged considerably, especially in its controls. I probably came too late to GoldenEye to appreciate it fully as my split-screen FPS childhood memories are dominated by TimeSplitters 2, a series that owes a lot to GoldenEye (Free Radical was founded by a lot of ex-Rare employees who previously worked on GoldenEye and Perfect Dark). Not that I went without blockbuster spy action on my N64 - I have very fond recollections of Mission Impossible!

Does anyone fare better than me in their James Bond gaming history?

Please add an option for 007: Nightfire on the Nintendo GameCube. Thank you.

I remember playing a terrible Bond game on the Amiga or possibly Master System way back when, I think it would have been based on Licence to Kill but I may be wrong. It was a side scroller of some description and was truly terrible!

I played the PS1 game that accompanied Tomorrow Never Dies and whilst it wasn't awful it was certainly a bit ropey. Same with the 2010 Daniel Craig Goldeneye thing - it wasn't great but was playable enough with friends.

Goldeneye 007 on the N64 was the only good Bond game I think I've ever experienced.

The EA ones were really decent, especially Nightfire.

I would but every time you edit a poll it resets the results and I don't want to invalidate my single vote

I do appreciate how YA fiction the title is though

The level where James Bond has to choose between marrying a werewolf or a vampire was narratively unexpected, but had very solid gameplay

Agent Under Fire on the PS2. I wanted an N64 and Goldeneye after playing someone elses one summer but couldn't afford gaming. Someone in my family bought me a PS1 which got me on PlayStations and as soon as a James Bond game was out for that I got it quick and played it non stop, telling myself this was the best Bond game ever

You joke but I am now legitimately disappointed that this version of Nightfire doesn't exist

It's James Bond so presumably he would sleep with both and marry neither

What's the one where you play as a young Connery bond but they got old Connery to record new dialog for it so you have this weird disconnect between the sound and the visuals?

From Russia With Love. Never played that one, but Everything or Nothing was a damn good original Bond title, which also deserves to held up alongside the more famous ones.

I remember Everything or Nothing being a great little game. Finding all of the Bond moments on each level was good fun.

I really liked The World Is Not Enough on N64. I'm actually bidding on a copy on ebay right now as I sold it years ago and fancy having it back in the collection.
