I have a feeling I going to be slated for this but the opening of Halo was the best part of the game for me:

I know it doesn't count but the bit where you get the hazmat suit in Half Life was amazing as well.

The video posted already of the deceptively intricate menu music and the frankly incredible "story of the legend" intro to Wind Waker is what I'd have chucked up as a nomination for this.

As an aside, from the recommended vids after watching that, my god, even now in the next generation on from the GameCube WW looks beautiful. :wub:

OoT is pretty special also. I'd also put GTA3 up there.

Would agree massively with Zelda, its hard to actually pick one out. The title screen for Metroid Prime is awesome to. Most recently I'd have to give it Xenoblade though. Stunning!
