If you see it anywhere get a bottle of their porter or hefeweisen they are goood!

Fullers are the sole importer in the UK for seirra so best place to find it would be a fullers owned pub :)

Yeah its pretty good, at the very least it is a good way of keeping tabs on what you had the night before.

The badges are good fun as they encourage you to try new beers and new pubs which is good as it is far to easy to get caught up in drinking the same things. If you are in a big city it is good for finding beers and pubs to go to but in normal town it isn't so great as the userbase in the UK isn't massive as it is american.

It gives some good suggestions of beers to try after you have used it a load so thats good too.

Is foreign extra the one that's brewed in Nigeria? If so that is amazeballs. Tastes like blackcurrant.

There are two, I've not had the Nigerian version yet only the normal one, the only place I know sells the Nigerian one around my way from time to time is Morrisons but I rarely go in so never see it.

Its a dull ass beer so don't really care where it brewed but it turns out that popular Cornish Beer Doombar is actually brewed in the Midlands.

Rarely had Doombar.

One of the few beers from a supermarket I like is actually Adnams Ghost Ship. Not spectacular but I can happily drink it.

Ghostship is alright, as you say nothing mega but it is better than the likes of Sheapards Neame and Greene King.

A know loads of people rave about Doombar but I just dont get it, it is really dull and pretty flavourless.

It's because its a easy alternative to lager although the cask stuff is still brewed in Cornwall which is much better than the bottled stuff.

As for tonight I'm having a bottle of two hoots golden ale quite a nice crisp golden ale.

Doombar is decent, but Hobgoblin is way better.

Funnily enough I had a Doombar last night. My dad had a little selection in his fridge.

Pretty forgettable. Nice colour though.

Gonna crack on with my London beers today.

Had a couple of pints of Lagunitas IPA last night, it was a decent if standard american IPA, which is no bad thing, but not one that stands out for any reason. I wouldnt say seek it out but if you find yourself somewhere with it on tap then give it a go.

They have bottles of it in all Wetherspoons now, as you say it isn't bad but nothing special.

Post about Hastings Brewery (local brewery) and their rebrand: http://errkalsdrinkinghouse.co.uk/hastings-brewery-re-branding-to-hastings-beer-co/

I'd post the whole thing but it isn't about a specific beer so am just posting the link.
