Ah, I get it now. I was expecting that link to go to a sign-up page where you enter your email address. But I guess, because I was already logged in, it just took clicking the link to be authorisation to sign up. Sure enough, I’ve just been sent the email.

I see the free £5 has to be used this week though!

Yes, it does.

Timing wise that's fine for me though, I've not ordered any since August and I'm down to my last 3 kegs (Leffe Blonde, La Trappe & Clwb Tropica) but even if I was stocked up I'm a sucker for a new keg and glass set so will be definitely be getting that, assuming it doesn't sell out before I order.

The keg and glass set has already sold out! Just ordered a single keg, plus the 12-variety taster pack, so I can try Clwb Tropica, Dark Arts, etc.

Mine got delivered today, keg in now chilling. :msgreen:

I started the monthly subscription early this week and subscribers get 24 hour early access.

I love the Clwb Tropica, one of the best discoveries I made as a result of getting the machine. Its like pineapple/Lilt. Will be interested to hear your thoughts on it and the Dark Arts. I always keep an eye out for a can of that to try but have never come across one.

Got £50 worth of credit burning a hole in my pocket now.

The taster pack is pretty good value, even if you’re not setting out to try new things. 12 cans/bottles for £20, plus you get £5 extra in tokens (until end of October), so it’s really only £15. Might be a good way to get a can of Dark Arts, along with a load of stuff you know you already like.

Looks like it'll be right up your street!

You were absolutely right about that! It’s exactly to my taste. I definitely want to buy more of this. Hope they get regular stock. Just a shame it’s a bit pricier.

There's so much nobbishness about the preparation of Guinness, but yeah, that's a bit of an odd one.

I had a cold last week so it wasn't until Monday that I could really try. I like it a lot! For something slightly weaker it's got a lot of flavour. It wasn't supposed to be available after 31st but still was last time I looked so might want to get another one while you can.

I'm on the Leffe Blonde tonight. Great autumn/nights are dark beer.

Already got another Schneiders arriving tomorrow haha. Thought I’d give the Beck’s Gold a try, as it’s in the multibuy this week. Not expecting much, but you never know. Finished off my keg of Leffe - heavy but great.

I think it's supposed to be ok/good.

Have you tried any of the tasters pack you got?

I'd recommend you get a Leffe Brune and Noel in the next few weeks.

Only things I’ve had from the pack so far are ones I already knew - when I wanted something other than the Leffe that was in the machine.

Thanks for the tip. I think I’ll order a Noel keg soon.

Picked up a bottle of Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select from Asda last night as it's currently £13 off.

Image

I've wanted to try it for quite a long time, having read that it's "the only good JD whisky". I am a fan of the cheaper and milder Gentleman Jack, and to be honest I'm expecting to not like this as much as it's 45% and probably too hardcore for me :slol: but happy to have got a bottle in for the Christmas period.

In Sainsbury’s today I noticed a few brands have knocked 30ml off their bottle size and they’re now 300ml. “Introductory price” labelling on the boards.

Shrinkflation. :x

I did one of those Introductory offers from Naked Wines earlier today.

Six bottles of red for £19.99.
Won't be continuing a subscription, but figured it'd make a cheap way to get the Christmas wine in.

Plus I could just use the Gmail trick to keep coming back as a new customer for eternally cheap wine :datass:

I've been with Naked Wines for years now. Their Christmas box is fantastic — I just let my account build up over the months each year so I can use the credit to purchase it. It's arriving next week :datass: god I love Christmas.

Beer52 have started a Wine vox too called Wine52, you have to ring then to cancel but might also be worth a look for some cheap wine

Oh, nice one. I've already got three on the shelf and another two arriving tomorrow! (Took advantage of the 11% off all kegs to get another Schneider's Bayrisch, and a Jupiler to get free delivery).

But I guess I might need more by Christmas...

I've decided against the Leffe Noel, after reading the profile. I really dislike cloves, so if that's a large part of the flavour, I'm not risking it.

The Becks Gold is way better than I was expecting. Quite a distinctive taste, with a little bitterness. Not one I'd buy often, but a good one to round out any multi-buys.
