Hell hath a reasonable amount of fury but you could probably have like one fury and still drive home.

We've got a mixed stout box of bottles from a local brewery this morning. There's about 15 bottles in there, but only 2 types and both are nearly 8% :dread:

Buxton are awesome, I tend to go for King Slayer when in Tesco at the moment as it is damn damn good.

Not seen in it Tesco but their sour called Far Skyline is excellent, it's like cloudy lemonade very refreshing.

Tried a few Edinburgh ales the other day, pretty shite. More or less tasteless.

Nice! One of my friends has a Perfect Draft and has invited me round to try it out next weekend. What's your opinion of how the beer comes out?

I think it tastes great. Far better than bottles/cans.

It's one of the best things I've ever bought.

If you like a beer I couldn't recommend one high enough.

Do you know what it is you are going to be trying?

Sounds good. One of the main reasons I won't get one is so that I don't encourage myself to drink more frequently.

One of them is the Goose Island Midway, second from the right in your photo, and the other is called Kwak, some sort of strong Belgian brew.

It does encourage you to drink more! But for me it's more because I don't have space to keep the machine out anyway so always aim to finish a Keg in 1 or 2 sessions.

Saying that, it it was there permanently I could see myself having at least a pint most nights.

. The IPAs are great on it. I've not tried the Goose yet but it's a lower ABV so imagine it'll be perfect for an all day sesh. Most IPAs are stronger than your normal lager. The Pineapple Express is 6.2%!

Not had the Kwak either. That's very strong. Does he have the proper Kwak glass?

I don't think so. I can't see myself enjoying the Kwak, I'm fairly sure it'll taste too strong, but I'll see!

Was going to get some Goose Island too, but it doesn't seem like Sainsbury's sell it. :|

Looks like you have. It means forgoing the hob, but you’ve got to get your priorities right.

I’ve been tempted by Perfect Draft myself in the past. Are there different machines, or is this one just over-priced because of scarcity?

Overpriced.

Beerhawk is the site to get them from. They've barely had them in all year but did the other day, £250.

Cheers, I’d just found that site. They’ve got a waiting list too, so no silly PS5-like scramble for stock.
