If you want something smoother and easier to drink try Bulleit Bourbon or Monkey Shoulder. They're nice to drink straight, over ice or with a mixer. Both can be picked up from your local supermarket at a reasonable cost so not too much of a risk if you don't like it.

I love a classic Gin & Tonic, but yeah an Old Fashioned is lurvely
Enjoyed a bottle of "Paulaner Munchner Hell" Munich Larger (as in the drink Larger) last night - never had it before but was very enjoyable

No I haven't but after googling it I will add it to the list. Sounds nice.
Such a shame going out for drinks is such a horrible experience atm. Would love nothing more right now than to have a few cocktails in and around Birmingham

I'd never consider gin and tonic as a cocktail but I suppose it is. Its not recognised by the IBA.

Espresso Martini.
Best cocktail by far!
Tried a Dragon Stout, had never heard of it before and wasn't even aware Jamaica produced Stouts but it was damn good.
Very high strength beer though, felt the alcohol kick in even though the bottle size was 284ml!

a gin and tonic isnt a cocktail because its just a mix of tonic water and a spirit

ive never had peach schnapps before, sounds interesting
i see still is a gin fan
never been a big fan of coffee in cocktails unless theyre hot (apart from exception below). ive made a lovely one with advocaat, coffee, and whipped cream
white/black russians are great stuff
