Hahaha Guinness can strawberry float off. For me they are there so when I go into a pub and it is a disaster of a place but I have to be there I can go "hufff, I'll have a guiness I guess"

Ooo I've had a few good peanut butter beers, Thornbridge made an epic one at one point (they may still do).

I don't mind cans, it's as close to keg as you can get without all the setup and for beers like I like keg and can is a better serving method for getting the best flavour and stuff.

I have had most of everything I've seen in shops round me, I really like the west Indies porter and foreign extra but neither appear in pubs much.

I'm interested to try the hibiscus one, I have had hibiscus beers before and they are cool, I'm planning on dropping the dark beers from my sub as the ones that come in the boxes tend to be a bit meh.

Cancelled by beer52 boxes, started getting annoyed at them sending a lot of their own label made by "someone" beers. They didn't try and retain at all so I suspect a good few people are doing the same, shame really as it started out really good.

Yeah that was my last one. I used to really like it as they had beers from different brewers etc. for the theme and there was some awesome stuff, but the last few for me have been too heavy on "beer52" beers and they have all but "ok" but nothing particularly special, it started feeling not worth £29 for the 10.

I think I'm going to take the £29 and spend it in my local bottle shop each month or every other month instead as I will get more range and be helping a local business (ish, technically it is a franchise as is a Borough Wines but still near enough)

I was in Salzburg last weekend and went to the Augustiner Bräu (not the Munich brewery, although I did that also). It's a big old monastery and brewery. You grab the mug size you want, give it a rinse then hand it to the guy next to a big old wood cask. Pretty damn good beer actually. It was a classic Märzen, but went down really well. Lovely and smooth.

I could have sat there for a fair few, but my girlfriend doesn't drink beer  :fp:

I hate that stuff. I dispise banana beer and banana flavoured anything (except actual bananas and dried banana chips).

Well excuuuuuse me, princess! ;)

I’m still new to the whole beer world so I’m trying anything I haven’t had before and seeing what I like/don’t like, and I liked the banana beer. Big fan of banana bread IRL though so that probably helps.
