My free Beer52 box arrived yesterday, came with 8 beers (none I've ever seen or heard of, which is cool), a big bag of crisps (was hoping for beef jerky or pork scratchings, but I'll allow it) and a Ferment magazine all about beers (decent toilet material I guess).

Cancelled my membership immediately :slol:

Whats in this months box? I cancelled my sub a few months back as I got sick of them sending contract brew beers they have had made under the "beer 52" name. I figured if I wanted a box from a specific brewer I would buy the brewdog one or something.

it was Poland - standout beer was a stonking wheat IPA. i am half Polish so may be biased but it was a great box.

I will have to consult said bottles and cans when I return to my abode after work.

One was a purple can that said "beer" on the side, if that helps?

edit: oh you meant the usual subscription, not the one they send us scrubbers

haha the freebie boxes are normal boxes so you get the same as the "normal" subber.

Doing exactly the same. :slol:

Waited until Polish beers of the month was replaced by "Summer Bangers" to get the freebies. They sounded more appealing:

Arrives on Saturday. :datass:

I've wanted to go when I lived in London, but as with most London festivals I am always put off at how busy they will be. I just don't have it in me queuing for ages just to get a beer.

Cracking line up though. A few familiar Italian breweries too which is nice. CR/AK and Ducato are very good.

I miss London beers  We get Beaverton here in a local supermarket strangely enough, but stuff like The Kernel has huge import prices at more independent places. 7 euros for 33cl bottle  .

I keep meaning to go but don't have the moneys when the tickets come out or have other stuff.
Its run by the people that own Craft Beer Co. I believe, a couple of mates went a few years back and said it was epic.

GR Beer Club in the Road next year?

Anyone tried that Hyde and Wilde stuff they're pushing in Sainsbury's at the moment?

Tried 3 new beers today:
Einstok White Ale
Wild Beer Nebula
Four Pure Shape Shifter

All bloody lovely but that Einstok was so smooth, that could get you in some serious bother.

Iceland make some awesome beers. You wouldn't think it was banned until the late 80s

Grabbed a Yeastie Boys Gunnamatta from Tesco it's damn good. Made with Earl Grey tea so it has a really floral delicate flavour to it. We'll worth a try if your local Tesco has them in.

I have definitely had that before because I remember the name, I think I liked it. Cool story huh?

I am on the elvis juice tonight, not much choice in this town I only get to try fancy beer when I'm on my travels really. :(

I went to a brewdog AGM with my shareholder friend once, does that make me king of beers (AKA Budweiser?). We all had too much 8% beer and left at 4pm to go to the 6 degrees north bar.
