I don't know what was in Maf's, but I stayed a member for 2 months during lockdown. One month free and one month on an offer.

There was some decent stuff there but strawberry float me they like beer with coffee in. First month had one coffee beer, second month had 2 coffee beers.

It's a Young's Pub so not a Craft Beer pub but a good vibe and you can get various Young's Ales and the view isn't bad either.

You're not too far from "Bermondsey Beer Mile" which is great fun and can be combined with food from Maltby Street Market. Wear comfy shoes though as normally you'll struggle to get a seat (and being craft beer places it usually means very uncomfortable bare bones seats).

Closer to Greenwich itself is Meantime Tasting Rooms.

In terms of beer I've been drinking a fair bit of Hobgoblin Ruby recently. It's pretty good I think, as someone who's not exactly a connoisseur of beer or anything. Goose IPA is my go-to that I've always got in the fridge.

I've also been enjoying plenty of red wine lately - having a Majestic just down the road is great. :datass:

Hobgoblin also has an IPA that I'm quite partial to.

Just tried the Aldi Anti Establishment IPA and its pretty close to Punk IPA but alot sweeter which I'm not liking.

As for Beer52 it has been poor for a while.

I had that Stars over Storr ale from my Beer52 order and it tasted like vinegar.

Considering the recipe for Punk is open source along with the rest of Brewdog beers I’m not surprised it is close to it.

I've just been getting a shitload of generic IPAs for 3 months now. The first box, (the free one :roll:

) was brilliant and had one amazing beer that I haven't been able to find anywhere (Grosse Bertha).
