Euro 2020: Italy win it; morons, encouraged by UK govt., racially abuse England's greatest team since '66.

Why should players have to have something put in front of them to be pictured with that they either object to or disagree with.

Sponsors names and logos on advertising boards around the pitch is fine; but it's not fine to place a product in front of someone, in their personal space, when they specifically object to that product.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/57499915

Austria forward Marko Arnautovic has been suspended by Uefa for one match after being found guilty of "insulting another player" in Sunday's Euro 2020 win over North Macedonia

The 32-year-old was found guilty of misconduct, with Uefa not considering his actions to be discriminatory.

This is pathetic on Uefas part. If you ban a player for insulting another player, then teams would be fielding the second team every other game.

If this was a racist comment - and it was - Shouldnt Uefa punish alot more severely?

I haven't been online for a few days so all this gooseberry fool about drinks has passed me by, but I bet Coke and Heineken are loving all the extra and free publicity it's giving them.

Belgium are a completely different team when De Bruyne is playing. He's exceptionally good.

Thought I'd tune into ITV to see the hightlights from today's games, and strawberry float me, it's so drawn out and painful. The truly dazzling insight from Andros Townsend and Eni Aluko didn't help much either - a real surprise.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. I’m a massive fan of McCoist both as a player and a pundit(and believe me it’s hard to give credit to such a massive Rangers man  ). He’s got a great sense of humour, seems to do his research and clearly still has an understanding of the modern game, something a lot of ex-pros who’ve been out of the game for a long time have lost. Glad to see him anchoring so much of the tournament for ITV.

For me, Clive, ITV have had the better punditry and commentary this tournament. Not something I thought I'd find myself saying but there you go.

Pundits on ITV are definitely better. Probably the better co-commentators too. Main commentators are about even for me.

And I was wondering the other day why everyone was so convinced that Wales were through after being on 4 points. Then I read up on the group stage rules and realised it was the four best third-placed teams that go through. I thought it was only the best two. :fp: It's a bit crap how it's so easy to get out of the groups and so many teams go through.

Portugal drew all three of their group games in 2016, went through in third place and won the strawberry floating thing.

I'm hyped, off to a British bar which will be full of English folk so hopefully they're kind to me while I cheer Scotland's many goals :shifty:

I am much more nervous.

If Scotland win, a big if, I probably would be in bed for few days to recover. :slol:

They need to be more clinical, and make no mistakes.

But it’s Scotland. So let’s see.

If they keep up the intensity and frustrate England, try and keep the match cagey, they do have a chance of getting a result. A neutral would look at England's attacking quality and make them firm favourites, but I suspect it won't be that simple.

Hyped for tonight's game. Wouldn't be opposed to a draw if it helps us finish second... :shifty:

Euro 2020. Group D. Wembley. I will be there. What a magical stadium. Such great memories. What a wonderful tournament. England, the England, versus the Scotland. What a game it's going to be, what a game, I wish I was out there playing myself! God

Tartan Army are showing themselves up in London by the sound of it. I understand why so many of them have gone down for the match, but they should've heeded the requests not to travel IMO.
