England are on the hard side of the draw. We will likely face France, Germany or Portugal in the round of 16. The Dutch have a very nice group and are on the easier side of the draw. Outside bet to win the whole thing?

In total, 12 potential England players are yet to finish their season because of their involvement in the Europa League and Champions League finals - three for Chelsea, four for Manchester City and potentially five for Manchester United.
With a number of injuries to key players including Jordan Henderson, Harry Maguire, Kalvin Phillips and Nick Pope, Southgate wants to see how the players in European finals come through those games before making a final decision.

I've heard some managers say they dislike working with larger squads because it's harder to manage. This makes sense to me in a league situation, but I'm not convinced it makes sense in a tournament, you take your full allocation surely because training isn't going to be much more than keeping players sharp and focused rather than working with them and developing things.

I hope so. A full debut season in the top division, where he has demonstrated his versatility across a numbers of positions (RB, RWB, CB, CDM), should have increased his value substantially.
He signed a four-year contract in September so if he were to go I would want £40m+ but ideally I'd like to keep him.

For taking in the first place or for me ditching him?
The latter.

He's been outstanding in the majority of Dortmund games I have watched this season. Better than Phillips.
