Gears of War 2 is an extremely Macho game.

They don't have to be mutually exclusive.

Also, Rik, I lolled at you desperately wheeling out the almost laughable "Dom Wife" scene as an attempt to prove it isn't "masculine bullshit" or whatever. I found the whole sideplot with Dom extremely annoying, and "tacked on", and just wanted to get back into the whole "strawberry float YEAH SPACE MARINES!" stuff.

I know what you mean. I actually thought the scene was surprisingly well done, but as it had pretty much zero effect on the plot, it felt completely out of place. The macho banter filling the rest of the game is ace.

Anything being above L4D invalidates this list. It's just factually the better game.

No, I only play with Brits on my friends list. Anyone who does shout strawberry float yeah at the screen is probably taking the piss anyway.
