Israel might have got 40% of the votes, but I doubt 40% voted for them

It was obvious what was going to happen from the start. As soon as the bent over backwards for the genocidal - to enable - entertainmentwashing for want of a better word. Compare and contrast with how Russia was treated post Ukraine.
The fake audience reactions yesterday are particularly egregious .
Look forward to it being hosted in the newly built Rafah stadium next year

Eurovision 'incident' prevents Dutch rehearsal
The Dutch Eurovision entrant did not take part in Friday's rehearsals for the song contest's final because of "an incident", organisers have said.
Joost Klein's props were being set up on stage inside the Malmö Arena when a production manager indicated they should be removed.
The European Broadcasting Union [EBU] said: "We are currently investigating an incident that was reported to us involving the Dutch artist. He will not be rehearsing until further notice.
"We have no further comment at this time and will update in due course."

Sick of these acts trying so hard to be "wacky". Just looks desperate.

It seems so forced now, though. Instead of being charmingly weird, it's become an attention-whore arms race to look the most ridiculous. Joost Klein and Windows95 being perfect examples.

Yes, exactly. That's the timeline that has led to this desperate mess. The group of old ladies was a bold and insane choice (like genuine lunatic Guildo Horn). But I thought that silver sub-Biggins twat was a hideously unfunny thing at the time.

The nonsense acts are always the best. Boring ballads can get to strawberry float.

Ukraine 2007 is probably my favorite Eurovision song ever, it's camp European fun, it's pure Eurovision.

Sorry but there is absolutely zero difference between Guildo Horn and Joost Klein. Zero. That's rose tinted specs talking.

Despite what Eurovision say about being ‘non-political’, it will be very political this year, especially by not excluding Israel.

The Irish contestant seems to be getting investigated too. As I mentioned before, I wish tonight was about escapism but that was never going to happen. Israel will either be disgraced tonight or win the whole thing.
