Back when we were playing MHTL's Playlist Game earlier this summer, IIRC Pixies songs featured on a few playlists, but they were often very heavy and not necessarily to my liking. However, some of the radio stuff I've heard has been very listenable indeed.

Doolittle and Surfer Rosa would be the 2 main ones to start with; most of their classics on those. There's also a couple of best of albums I think. I bought the Death To The Pixies one many years ago. Also, should check out some Frank Black albums - Teenager of the Year is a good one.
