Never really listened to their stuff but yeah, this song is beautiful.

Also, just listened to the new Arctic Monkeys album. After the ragingly fresh shock to the system that was AM it's incredibly disappointing. In fact, it's the same 70s inspired lo-fi elevator music that The Last Shadow Puppet pump out, so I have no idea why it's been released under the Arctic's name. A huge letdown.

I'm quite a fan of frightened rabbit. Really catchy little band. Sad news.

Yeah I really like Frightened Rabbit. Their songs could be quite bleak at times, but had a very dry sense of humour running through them.

Got a few songs through the new Arctic Monkeys album and I agree with Taf. I thought AM was possibly their best one so far and was a big improvement over their third.

I agree completely that it sounds like elevator music or something you'd have playing in the background at jazz bar.

It's interesting to follow the reactions on twitter: it seems like a fairly close 60/40 split on those who think it's awful, pretentious nonsense and those who like it. I don't want to say it's bad music as I'm not qualified but it's certainly not for me.

Arctic monkey has always been bad music.

Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not and AM were cracking, but they seem to have bought into their own hype somewhat with this new one.
