I'm just listening to some random film score playlist on Spotify and the similarities between some of the Back to the Future and Predator soundtracks is striking. I get that they're both by Alan Silvestri, but you'd think he'd be a bit more subtle in re-using his own work

Chemical Bros album is out today!
Half way through second listen and it's best album they've released in years. No bad tracks at all and some great tunes, it hits Aphex twin at times mixed with their earlier stuff. Wonderful.

Does anybody else love Flume's music too?
I've been listening to his new Mixtape on repeat and it flows so well, and with so many great moments, that once it's popped I almost can't stop.

Stand ot track for me is No Geography but it's so short, I'd love a longer remix. Eve of destruction and Bango also very good. Free Youself and MAH are proper bangers too!

Just listened to the whole album and I see (or, more accurately hear) what you mean, Bango and Gravity Drops definitely have Aphex style moments, I'm sure RDJ would take it as a compliment.
Imagine an Aphex/Chems collaboration, I think my brain would melt.

I know a lot of people utterly hated this album but I think its actually quite good once you get used to how poppy it is.
It shouldn't work but I love it.

The Jesus and Mary Chain | Just Like Honey | 1985
I got into this song after hearing it in the film Lost In Translation. It was perfect for the film and still sounds so good today.
