I once heard possible-arch-racist Danny Baker do a bit on his show asking people to send him examples of household appliances that sounded like the intro to a song.

This was inspired, he claimed, by his vacuum cleaner which sounded like the beginning of See Emily Play when he switched it on.

Ha, yeah I can hear that possibility.

Here's Acidize... The coffee machine sounds like the droning fuzz intro when it starts pumping the espresso. (Just staying on the one tone, obviously.)

Used to have a battery charger that made a whining noise like the first couple of seconds of this

I also highly rate John Garcia's The Coyote Who Spoke In Tongues, which was a bunch of new songs and some acoustic versions of Kyuss tracks, like this amazing Green Machine.



And also the John Garcia and the Band of Gold album.

I'd heard of Vista Chino (and Slo Burn) but for some reason or other never got round to having a listen.
