John Mayall's Bluesbreakers 'Beano' album featuring Eric Clapton aged 18. Couldn't find a complete album on youtube, just track by track so pulled it for now. An amazing album though.

Turtlenecks really blindsides you doesn't it? Just this burst of energy out-of-nowhere.

I have been really enjoying listening to the album so far but I'm very unsure of Turtlenecks. Don't know if I like it at all.

Currently listening to the new Death From Above 1979 album and I'm unsure if I like it or not, it sounds like them but a lot less raw as everythiing sounds a little too overproduced. It sounds more like the last Royal Blood album, which while they are a similar sounding act are slightly too 'Poppy'.

Outrage! is a big improvement over the last album, but still doesn't come close to their first.

I've really been enjoying it, it's got since fantastic riffs in it, and the lyrics are pretty catchy, too.

Yeah, I think its probably because the first album is so bloody good that the following ones just don't quite hit the sweet spot.
