But also as Rula alludes the game is plagued by hackers, in console versions too occasionally but especially on PC, and while you might expect one of the biggest online games still in active development to have had crossplay patched in like it has for many others, if Rockstar can't even fix the hacking then there isn't much hope.

Oh I get that it's old and all that but it's still crazy to think that such a huge online game is still locked to single platform online play. Even if they were worried about the PC hacker surely connected the consoles up wouldn't have been too much to ask!?

We already have ten GRcadians who are gonna be playing GTA games during the coming weekend. It's so easy to join in; play any GTA game on any system for as long or as short as you want!

It's been a long time since I tried GTA but looking at the download link it's just an .exe file and from memory you launch the game directly from the executable rather than install, so probably not for mod support.
Google shows some questionable downloads but it looks like GTA London may be on Steam
Couldn't see the expansions unfortunately but thanks anyway.
Just doing first time setup so I'm not fannying about this weekend. I've heard about the Rockstar Launcher. It's a bad thing isn't it?
