Time to get onto GTA Online and spend three hours in the strip club. That's... what GTA's about, right?

Should be live in a few.

More GTA V - such a great game. Writing is awesome and the gunplay and action is really well done.

Some lovely shots there, Bertie - so crisp! Good to hear that you're enjoying it :-).

Just a reminder to all that DarkRula is streaming some GTA right now; he's building a race course!

Next up, nightclub sell mission. Got about $200,000 of stock to shift in a public server, always fun!

An hour or so in Chinatown Wars and I'm enjoying it but not loving it. The sort of top-down view is a bit of a struggle for the moment, and this is from someone that loved the top-down games. The mini map isn't a ton of use either as I find by the time a turn shows up on it, there's a split second before I've already gone by it. I also keep smashing into cars, including cop cars which is making it all a bit harder on myself!

You're dealing mad money, Sprout! .

Hopefully it'll grab you more once you've spent a wee bit more time getting used to it, Grin.

It sounds like you're on a bit of a rampage! :toot: .

I love the damage models for the cars. Need to shoot, smash a window and pop the gun out. The fuel tank explosions, the tyres deflating. The breakable glass and how it shatters for individual bullets. I hit a lamppost the other day and the whole front corner just locked up. Tyre was leaving a trail everywhere I drove.

It’s really well done. It just shows what stuff just wasn’t done for cyberpunk.

I have 7 million in the bank and really need something to spend it on. I avoid going on rampages against players when I have cash to spare as it just gets spent on replacing their personal vehicles. :slol:

The explosive, heat seeking sniper rifle is ridiculous, but also amazing.

Anyway, here is my first video. My goal was to quickly get to five stars, then lose them (without simply paying Lester to do so) and then go and eat tea.

To do this, I used the Rhino Tank, the Entity XF (my favourite Super Car) and the Hydra. Part way through I go back to finish off the tank in order that I can spawn my Hydra, but I do actually have two Hydras saved as personal vehicles, so I think that wasn't needed, but as I said, I'm a bit rusty!

So it turns out I did spend some time in the strip club after all. Just not an entire three hours. I always love messing around in GTA V, which is why I wished Rockstar would make something more of the Director Mode. And as I said while creating that track, I do wish they'd allow us to set the hit detection for checkpoints, as that little change would allow for a whole new layer of race creation.

Looking forward to getting stuck into San Andreas tomorrow, and for the GTA 1 and 2 Deluxe Pack priced at £49.99 with only the first game on the cart to be announced during next week's Nintendo Direct.

Absolutely, Bertie. Watching DarkRula play GTA V tonight, I was so impressed by the game engine; it's so efficient and effective at seamlessly updating a large, busy openworld.

Hee! Nice work, Sprout! You have some very cool vehicles and it was neat seeing them in action.

That was a great, action-packed stream, Rula. Was good seeing you demo the Online race building and also to see the carnage later on :-).

Ah, yes, classic Nintendo .

I played a bit of GTA V!

First mission's going well:

I mean really well:

That was curtains for me because apparently you can't call Green Flag in the middle of a car chase, but one restart later I managed to not mount a wall and reached the objective (killed a woman turning into the car showroom - still got it!):

I'm only half an hour in, but strawberry float me I hate every character I've ever met in every GTA I've ever played.

Yes! Good work, Dowbocop. It looks like you've eased into that "wreck everything" mentality. Happy breaking!

I've made it to San Fierro. Will play more after I've done the IRL things I need to do today.

Rattled through a quick mission but found time for a quick blaze:

One thing I do miss now we're in the digital era of games is that there's no paper map. In all my shared houses at uni there was a map of either Liberty City, Vice City or San Andreas stuck to the wall near the telly. There was one included with RDR as well wasn't there? It's just nice to have it to hand without having to fanny around in menus. I might have to put one on my second monitor or on a tablet, because - especially in the early game - you have no idea where anything is.
