I voted no, because I'm not a strawberry floating FREAK.

I don't see what's wrong with finding a game character attractive.

Mind you, I guess it does depend on which game character rings your bell. When I said Capell out of Infinite Undiscovery was 'cute' I, of course, meant *ahem* 'hideously repugnant' and not 'easy on the eye' in any possible way, being as he's supposed to be barely 17 or something...

SO... moving on, finding a game character attractive can enhance the gameplay - you can feel personally invested in the character you are playing if you feel a low-level attraction to their physical likeness. Jack Carver out of Far Cry was one such guy. I liked him the moment I saw him and I always regretted the fact the devs never let me see much more of him.

I think Faith out of Mirror's Edge is a stunning character creation - sexy, beautiful and very well imagined. I don't know much about her from what I've seen, but what I've seen instantly made an impression. She is a great example of iterative character design being worked and reworked by talented designers to create an instant icon.

Think of a Troma movie, set in Wales, half the budget, remove any jokes or charm, add some gooseberry fool effects then double the run time. It's terrible, a real let down.

I might look it up and see if I can watch it online later, at least then I won't' be forking out £2.50 or whatever to buy it so I'll at least be only wasting time and not money.
