There’s a pretty comprehensive NES manuals archive out there too, I forget the web address but I have most of them saved on my laptop.

Oh nice! I get massive nostalgia kick from manuals of this era. That being said, it's not the same as holding the original artefacts in hand. But it is a lot cheaper.

Yes, it lacks the certain smell and aroma of an early 90s SNES manual.

Still, this is what archive.org is all about, and what a preservation site it is. Hopefully one day they'll be able to emulate the aroma!
