Demo out now

https://blog.eu.playstation.com/2019/05 ... f212327503

The team here at Japan Studio is thrilled to announce that from today, PS VR owners can grab a free playable demo of Everybody’s Golf VR from PlayStation Store!

The demo lets you play in the full game’s practice area, as well as enjoying the scenery from the Forest Course’s teeing ground.

To help you get into the swing of things in the demo, we’d like to talk a little about the game’s all-new shot system. In Everybody’s Golf VR, the shot system is as simple as swinging the controller like a golf club. Though it’s simple enough for anyone to enjoy, it also has a lot of depth…

You dont get to play on a course but the driving range gives you a good feel for the game which I am impressed with. Demo does tease you with a course though and than stops you playing on it

I think i'm going to have to move my PSVR set up to the front room, where i have enough space to use the move controllers. I have never been a big fan of them, but some of the best games on the system now seem to be built around that aspect, and i feel like i am only getting half the experience.

Yeah, my "gaming" room is very small; I sit at a desk and have about two feet either side of me. Not really ideal for PSVR but I'm gonna try out the Move controllers here later  .

I watched some random youtube review of this and the guy was very impressed. Positives were the immersion and 1:1 control you have over the club, the main negatives were the lack of other golfers anywhere in the game, so it felt like a lonely experience (despite having a cutesy caddy alongside you the whole time), and the lack of multiplayer. The guy also said it's one of the best golf games ever made.

I will get it, but I'm going to wait for a sale.

I think what the guy was getting at is that it can a bit empty, like you're always playing a practice round because there's simply nothing else going on. You'd think they'd have had crowds watching or standing around during tee-off (which would give me the sweats, I hate teeing off in front of an audience :slol: ), but it's not got anything like that.
