I love that they didn't even have to show the last hit.

I’d rate the tournaments thusly:

MK11
SFV
DBZ (loved that guy’s reaction to winning!)
Smash
...everything else.

Guess this is as good a place as any since I don't see a 2020 thread.

Month long event, showcases and the like for the original line-up. Smash dropped because that would just be embarrassing. Then 4 tournaments for games that actually have functional online:

-Mortal Kombat 11
-Killer Instinct
-Them's Fightin' Herds
-Skullgirls

Really glad to see TFH and especially Skullgirls getting the spotlight here.

And never forget: Smash died so the My Little Pony meme game could live. This truly is the brightest timeline.

Just a quick update for anybody who may have still been looking forward to this: due to the allegations surrounding Mr Wiz that came to light during the recent Smash shitshow he has been removed as CEO of EVO and they're currently working on severing all ties with him. As a result of said allegations Street Fighter, Bando Namcai, and Them's Fightin' Herds (that I've personally seen) have all pulled their slots from the lineup, leading to EVO as a whole to be shut down completely this year.

I hope that Evo can bounce back from this as it's an event I enjoy every year, but I do welcome the mixup that Wiz getting dropped might bring, if I have to take any bright side on this.
