They didn't abandon Mario 35 it was always an anniversary thing with an end date. And Bandai Namco were in charge of Pacman 99 not Nintendo and they switched it off because no one was playing it.

Still on the trial. I won't need to buy NSO as I've had a 1 year membership voucher thing sitting on a shelf for a couple of years. Now I have a reason to use it.

True, although I saw Pacman 99 still in my library so maybe it is available in single player or something, not sure. Or it will just fail to launch.

I got a really comprehensive win on White Land 2 the other day. By the time I got to the end of the Grand Prix my boost bar was double the standard size and I was Falcon so the twinky Foxes didn't know what hit em. Stayed ahead the entire time, Skyway bar didn't even get a quarter filled. Felt good man.

Any tips on how to get better at this? I haven't been playing long, and i'm constantly in the middle of the pack. Is this just a "git gud" situation? Or am I just missing something? I'm using Golden Fox.

I would recommend switching to Wild Goose. More beginner-friendly machine that's more consistent and can take a beating while stuck in the pack. You can sit there for a bit collecting yellow orbs and fishing for KOs to boost your power meter then using the super boost (skyway track) to get out of there, and save your boost for the last couple of laps.

F-Zero was the perfect game for me as a kid. I got into F1 when F-Zero came out. I legit remember going to Comet with my brother when he had a SNES and I wanted him to get it!

He trained me up and gave me his SNES when the PSX (yeah I won't call it PS1 because I'm so cool) came out. I'm honestly soooo good at F-Zero that I won't play F-Zero 99 as I'd be owning all you poors. 8-) :shifty:


Obviously I'm joking. But on Mario Kart online the only races I win are the SNES tracks that require skill!
