Sent out to die so they can confirm there's no ongoing interest in the series

an 18th finish is my best so far, it's pretty fun but not something i will probably play a lot off. just something to dabble back into from time to time.

I think it looks great! I'd be playing it now, but my Switch's controllers are all knackered.

We'll get GX when they start emulating GC games on the Switch 2.

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

I think it looks kind of cool too, but I still fear that it's a half arsed attempt at doing something with the license which when it doesn't gain huge traction will validate them doing strawberry float all with it again for 20 years

This is way better than I ever imagined and is super polished. Super fun too. I just played it for an hour.

Can you attack other players? Because of you can, then it is effectively Death Race and that'd be both broken and hilarious!

Yeah you can do the spin from F-Zero X and when you're in the middle of the pack it's absolute chaos

tried the mini prix, was on the 3rd race, i boosted into 1st place thinking it was the final lap, crossed the line, still one more lap to go. barely any energy left so blew up soon after. had it been the final lap then it would have been wonderful.

Just saw the direct.

New F-Zero! YAY!

It's an online only 99 game. Hmmm.

Which means it'll be delisted and the servers turned off the second Nintendo feel like they've gotten as much as they can out of it.

I'll probably have a few games to see how it is at least. It does sound fun, even if I hate playing most things online.

God damn this is so damn good and I finally got my first win. I KO'd one of my rivals and beat my other Rival by two seconds to win.

Nice. I should probably get on this while my muscle memory with F-Zero will allow me to put in a decent result before everyone else gets good at it.

What an amazing surprise and god damn it's absolutely brilliant.

Such a cool idea. I've been playing for 90 mins non stop because it has a really cool 1 more go feel. I absolutely suck at it though. Really struggle to get out of the mid pack and I imagine this will turn some people off. Feels like there's some strategy to work out. The options records and customisation are all surprisingly cool too.

What an absolute treat!

This is really fun :) Though a bit slow to get going with the tutorial + 3 CPU races (the last one comm error'd me out on the last stretch :simper: ).

Still, this'll easily go into my pick up and play rotation on Switch. I like how they've handled the progression + modes and you can tell it's made with passion for the material; all the menus taking panels from the original game's instruction manual comic!

Quite a poetic release too as the SNES original never had multiplayer, this is a heck of a correction!

This is amazing! Easily my game of the year. Just spent two hours straight on it. Highest I’ve gotten is 5th but consistently a top 10 finish.

SNES graphics and sound are timeless.

I do quite like the new start to a race. All in a row and charging towards the track

Yeah that initial drag race to the front is great.

The handling seems a little off from the SNES game. Especially when cornering with the shoulder buttons. It's much easier to veer off to the side unintentionally than it was originally.
It's not bad, just different.

I'll be spending more time with this I think. :D
