So how does this work then, I download on Switch and it starts Season 1 which I can play for free? Will all future seasons be free as well, just cosmetics you pay for?

Yes it seems like how it works for PS4/PS5.

You can unlock some cosmetics but if you want to get them quicker. Pay for them. :fp:

That’s fair I guess, if PlayStation is on Season 6 though will all the other systems be 5 seasons behind all the time?

It’s crossplay, so I wouldn’t have thought they’d have different seasons between consoles. Maybe the content will be the same, just numbered differently depending on platform.

I believe you have to use an Epic account, btw.

The seasons are being reset owing to it going free-to-play, so even those on PC/PS4 will be on season 1.

Just played for the first time. To me it's brilliant, annoyed I can't change my name on there though from SelectSlug362, but otherwise I'm enjoying myself a lot!

Set up the pre-download on Switch last night so will give it a go this evening

I downloaded the PS5 version and got a bunch of free stuff when I logged in. I got a free season pass thing too.

Yes. It has full cross platform parties support (via the Epic Friends system)

What's the sitch with private games now? We had a couple of decent laughs with it to begin with, but a couple of our friend group weren't exactly *good*, so they'd end up getting knocked out in the first round and then just having to sit there for 10/15 minutes until the rest of us dropped out. I remember there being talk of private lobbies for streamers and stuff, but can you play private games with a couple of friends? Being able to start a game with a few buds and play through a selection of random rounds with a best-of-three kind of score system or something would be ideal.
