Yes, it tells me to listen to the radio in Goodneighbor. Cue over an hour of hanging about listening to the same few episodes of the Shroud multiple times.

It's bugged, plain and simple. I did leave town at once point around doing the mission, though I can't remember exactly when - that might have done it.

Temperamental game.

Well, that stinks, hope they patch it up and you can still play it.

In other news, I just finished the Cabot house quest.

Not sure how to really feel about it, it seems like there really is no good ending, since the only thing you have that suggests that Lorenzo is evil is what Jack tells you.

Me too, but I'm pretty sure I'll be able to get it done right when I play through on the revamped survival mode. I hope.

I was honestly expecting to return after the week Jack spends with the artifact, only to find him in the same situation his father was in - possessed, evil and very powerful and violent. I was all geared up for a big showdown, but all I got was that lousy Zeta gun.

I went back and let out Lorenzo, and he kills his family, but then again he was locked up for 400 years... The only thing to suggest he really is crazy is the way he talks. Then again, I just did it recently, maybe if you return after a while you can see if he really was crazy or something.

I reasoned that by destroying his sole means of immortality, Jack was basically showing he was willing to sign his own death warrant in order to contain Lorenzo so I had no reason to believe he was being anything other than honest. Also, Lorenzo is an unknown quantity as is the artefact so killing him seems logically the most prudent course of action, or at least the one least likely to backfire horribly.

Anyhoo, isn't Far Harbor out this month? I am quite looking forward to it as apparently it is the biggest expansion Bethesda have ever done and it brings back memories of Point Lookout (the best one they have done thus far).

Well, that does look cool.

Dunno if it's enough to get me to dust off my copy of FO4, but we'll see :)

Looks like it's all cool quests, monsters and characters, none of this building nonsense.

Nonsense? I like having a tangible impact on the appearance of the wasteland. My wasteland, my way.

Far Harbor looks more interesting than the main campaign. Might have to pick that up. It's been bugging me I'm one trophy away from the Plat, I assume Far Harbor will give me enough of a boost to reach level 50. I was going to wait for all the DLC to be in a sale, but it looks so good. Wonder how much Far Harbor will be alone.

I only just picked this up from CEX at the weekend and haven't started it yet, but just out of interest, how many hours have you put into it to get close to the platinum? Is it a massive chore?

It's hard to say, I had a few saves on the go, because I wanted to see how each major faction's campaign played out. I'd say I put around 40+ hours into it, but I explored a lot, had a lot of fun with the settlement mechanics. I'm 4 levels from the Plat (the Level 50 trophy is the only one I'm short) and I imagine I'm only missing that because I did the faction stuff separately.

If you make a separate save at one or two key places I don't reckon this would be too hard or time consuming to platinum. I think I just have the other faction trophies to pick up and I could always drop the difficulty for those.

EDIT: I forgot about Benevolent Leader or whatever it's called. I need that too and it's a tad on the broken side.

How are you so low a level? I'm at 67 or 68 with 200+ hours poured in and I'm still ages from being done.

I genuinely don't know , but I seem to be in the minority of having Legend Of The Wastes as my last trophy. I did all major faction quests and side quests, split over 3 saves. I think if I did all the faction side quests on one save that would have made a pretty big difference. I split my saves around the mid-thirties, and on each of the three saves I'm 44-46ish. But I've googled looking for major side quests, and I've done all that I can find. Only Misc Objectives and radiant quests are the only things I can find. I wish I'd taken the Idiot Savant perk now.

I didn't find Benevolent Leader as hard as everyone else seems to. Luck was my major attribute, and I had a stupid amount of money at the end of the game, so throwing money into Clinics at the end wasn't much of a problem for me. I hear it's possible to cheese it with a 2 person settlement, which makes the 'Large Settlement' description of the trophy a bit misleading.

I think the problem is that I chose Sanctuary as my main settlement so I've put a tonne of time and resources into developing it but every time I go off adventuring the residents forget how many beds there are and the happiness starts to plummet. I had it up to 85 at one point but after nipping to Wicked Shipping to kill some Ghouls the happiness dropped backed down to 60 in minutes.
