After living in the grime of the Ash Heap, I've now settled down in a far more comfortable setting out on the west river. Nighttime under the stars.

I've been really into rundown, ramshackle builds recently. I'm digging that last one as it's by a pool of water on the Ash Heap and it fits in pretty well with the landscape in that area.

I've setup camp in the Savage Divide area for the first time. I think I may get my butt kicked around here.

I'm taking part in the #76ShopTilUDrop event; tasked with building a 2x2 sized shop anywhere in the wasteland.

I created Ashes, a gardening store out on the smokey, dirty Ash Heap. Your one-stop-shop for vibrant flowers and plants :-).

^^^ I made this steel-mining camp in the Forest. Had to include plenty of greenery and colour :-).

Image

^^^ Afterwards I traveled out to the Ash Heap and setup home amongst the grime.

^^^ Last week I *finally* got the opportunity to buy the glass walls from the Atomic Shop... and I love 'em! I created this copper-mining home and went for a classy feel for the living area.

I built this camp just outside of Fort Atlas. I do like the dinky, cosy living area design.

Kotaku has posted a lengthy report into developer conditions at Bethesda during the development of Fallout 76. The report highlights "crunch" and harsh working environments, with claims that Bethesda did not take action on staff concerns. Some developers told Kotaku that things haven't really changed since Zenimax was purchased by Microsoft, with MS apparently using a light touch in dealings with Bethesda.

^^^ I have a double-header update for all you camp-building fans! First we have a new home out on the west river; this place sure does look cosy at night.

^^^ Next we have my latest (just finished) home situated in the Savage Divide, right next to Fort Atlas. I am really pleased with how "natural" this rundown build looks; I'm hoping that other players enjoy visiting it :-).

Maintenance for the new game update is well over-running. It started at 15:00 and normally takes around two hours but they're still going.

I suspect that F76 maybe has a little too much impact on my life right now :o  .

I saw you were considering upgrading your PS+. My first thought was "Isn't Fallout 76 Season 9 coming out?"

Ha, yeah, I gotta have some form of Plus even if it's just for F76  . And... maintenance has (mainly*) completed - I'm going in!

*Apparently the Store is still being looked at and updated.

^^^ I stumbled across this area just outside Fort McClintock and it has lovely views across to the bridge. I just had to build a camp there!

^^^ I've just finished creating this base out on the Ash Heap. I included the new "greenhouse" glass pieces and I like how they brought a fresh feel to the workshop area.

I was exploring for a new spot to build at and I stumbled across this area just by Morgantown. I went for a scavenger/rundown look and it fits in pretty well.

I was going for a "mystical place in the woods" vibe; a wee bit of light and sparkle. Plus a few skulls.

"Country roads, Take me home..."

I discovered this new roadside spot and really enjoyed building here.

I built this place in one of my fave spots out on the Ash Heap and I do like the flow and vibe of the interior.
