Jawa the amount of time and care you put in to this game is insane!

...thanks, man! I think I'm at over 1,200 hours now and I still enjoy it... and I'm really excited about Fallout Worlds which arrives tomorrow.

Fallout 1st subscribers will have the ability to create their own worlds with multiple parameters; the potential is really quite something with everything from battle, environment and (hoorah!) building rules able to be adjusted by the user. Custom worlds will enable the player to tailor things for their own preferred style of play.

Opening up so much to the user creates some great possibilities but also a huge risk of multiple bugs! Even so, I can't wait to try it and, if it delivers on the promise, I can see myself renewing my sub for another year.

It's been a funny old afternoon for F76. Originally it was looking like the new Season 6 would be delayed but apparently the tech issues have been resolved. The scheduled maintenance is still underway - it started at 1400 (UK) - but, once finished, we should be able to check out the new Fallout Worlds. I hope to try it out this evening :toot: .

Am I able to visit your world once created or is it for the paying master race?

Want to check out club Jawa at some point!

I *think* that any player will be able to visit a world created by a Fallout 1st subscriber; I will check this out!

Oh, and all players can try out some of the new Fallout Worlds created by Bethesda themselves - I think they're going to swap a new one in and out each week.

I travelled further down the river and built a new camp upon the rocks.

I've already started creating a fresh camp; this time back amongst the dirt and desolation of the Ash Heap. It's going well so far!

I have yet to try Fallout Worlds as I'm waiting to see how other folk get on with it first. It sounds like it has lots of potential but play and progress is separate from the standard world.

Out amidst the darkness and the devastation, you can still find great spots to create a new home :-).

I may not post as much but I'm still hugely enjoying building in the wasteland. All of the above stuff was created over the past month.

Thanks very much, floyd!

I'm currently in the midst of building a spooky Halloween house. It's coming along well and I'm gonna put a bit more work into it tonight :-) .

Atoms (the shop currency) are on sale and I just bought a few additional furnishings and spooky items... they're gonna look good in my Halloween camp! The build is quite nice and I hope to finish it and post some pics tonight.

Bethesda wrote:New to Fallout 76? Make your debut in Appalachia during our Free Play Week starting October 19, allowing players to dive into the full base game for free until October 25. Should you purchase Fallout 76 after the Free Play Week, all your progress carries over so you can keep on exploring post-nuclear West Virginia without missing a beat. Better yet, we’ll be having sales on Fallout 76 over the course of the Bombs Drop event so you can snag the game at a saving...

...Note that players on Xbox and PlayStation systems will need an active Xbox Gold or PlayStation Plus membership respectively to partake in the Free Play Week. Additionally, the Windows 10 PC edition of the game will not support the Free Play Week promotion – PC players looking to access the Free Play Week can do so via the Bethesda.net, Steam or Xbox Play Anywhere versions of the game.

Just in case anyone wanted to give the game a go, it's free-to-try for a week on all platforms (PlayStation, Xbox and PC).

Your builds have really come along Jawa, they're very grounded and realistic looking, everything in a logical place.

Thanks, man. I like to stick to fairly compact builds and fit lots of furnishings into a smaller space; it tends to add to the vibe. Some of the new Halloween furnishings are pretty neat - I was unsure about the Haunted House building walls and roofs but they work together quite well.

I've just extended my F76 subscription for another year, taking me up to November 2022. I took advantage of some decent PS Store credit prices at ShopTo and got the price down to £7.16 per month; much better than the £11.99 ( :dread: ) per month standard pricing. I was a bit unsure about subbing for a year but I enjoy playing so much.
