I've almost finished creating a new camp and it's Raider-themed! It's rough and really has a "scavenged materials" feel... no flowers and fewer lights this time  .

I hope to post some shots today but it may have to be held over until tomorrow.

...and finished! I'm pleased with this one; I used plenty of wood and defensive items to try and create a scavenged, rough n' ready impression.

Jawa, you should do the quest lines as you get plans from them as well as the station shops (you likely know that, but I am telling you anyway!)

Thanks, Pedz! Yeah, I have the bulk of the camp building plans but there are items that you can only get by completing daily ops and other missions... which I very rarely tackle. I think I might take a break from building at some point and try to work on the missions.

I used some of the new "destroyed" materials to create this wreck out on the Ash Heap.

A couple of folk on Discord asked to see some interior shots of my latest camp. I usually stick to external snaps in general, but there is a neat rundown-but-comfy vibe going on here.

I setup a new camp out by the track on the Ash Heap.

I've enjoyed a quiet day hidden away at home in the Forest.

Hey, Pedz! I had an aunt and my dad both in hospital and I wasn't around for a few Wednesdays... but all is well now! I can't be there this Weds 'cos football, but I hope to join you and Cumberdanes soon, though!

The Pitt, the new expansion for Falllout 76, arrives in September. Looks cool but I *think* you have to be pretty high level to tackle it... we'll see, though.

I *think* I'm going to take a break from the game for a while.

I've been playing - well, mainly building - in the game for a few years now. I've thoroughly enjoyed it and the building aspect has kept my interest for such a long time. My annual game sub is coming up for renewal in a few weeks, though, and my feeling is that I'll leave it for now.

I haven't really played much else to any great degree these past years; bar an Animal Crossing fixation back in 2020. I'll sleep on it but my thinking is that perhaps it's time to try a few different things.

Shortest break ever!

As long as you're enjoying yourself that's all that matters!

After my MASSIVE (four-day!) break from the game I've been building again; the rain fell as I created this camp in the Forest.

The Pitt game update is available and I'm downloading now :toot: .

The update is 69 Gb on PlayStation. And then there'll be a massive "updating" time afterwards. Oh well, tomorrow night, then :fp: .

Okay... huge update downloaded, installed and I'm playing now.

First up: nothing was mentioned about it in the patch notes, but the graphics seem to be substantially sharper, with a greater viewing distance. I'm playing on PS4 Pro and either they are better or my eyesight has suddenly improved :o .

Edit: I dunno... I'm just wandering around checking and the textures do look better.

Travel beyond the borders of Appalachia to The Pitt – a grim industrial wasteland crippled by conflict and awash with radiation. Join up with the Union, a fledgling band of freedom fighters and work your way through the City of Steel against the Fanatics and whatever else might be lurking in the shadows.

These expeditions into the Pitt are large-scale repeatable missions for groups of up to 4 players. From Whitespring Refuge in Appalachia, players will power a Vertibird to transport them into the heart of The Pitt. What awaits are randomized, repeatable, end-game missions designed to test the most experienced and prepared groups. Conquer Expeditions to earn Stamps, a new currency exchangeable for powerful and rare Expedition-themed rewards. Unlock new challenges and earn new rewards in the Pitt! Free for all Fallout 76 players! Available now.

I have a few new wall pieces to try out and I enjoyed putting this place together. It's set just by The Rusty Pick.
