That bridge entrance and the wire fence on the right look like great pieces I haven't seen before

Yeah, they're nice bits that I got from the Atomic Shop. The bridge is called "Encampment Bridge Kit" and the metal (wire-top) fence is "Communist Fence". The fence piece is unusual in that it can (currently, at least!) be placed in water, which is great as it allows you to add a touch of defensive style to camps built over water.

I'm already in the mood to build a new camp. Gonna have a scout around this evening and see if a particular spot attracts. I may wander off to the desolate Ash Heap area...

I spent a number of hours yesterday building a new camp... but things didn't quite gel. I started off building a rough n' ready scavenger-style camp and, whilst it looked pretty neat, it was just too similar to my past few builds.

I then demolished it and built a modern-style camp; a square design with white doubled-sided walls and lots of steel pillars. I hadn't used that approach for many months and it looked decent... but I still wasn't feeling it.

I realised the issue was that the spot I was building at was just too familiar; I've built there many times in the past. I need to go somewhere different and gain the challenge of building on new terrain. So, today I'm venturing out to find that new spot.

I was checking out the south-west corner of the map today. The Ash Heap area is so dark and moody! I visited Welch Station which is heavily populated by mole miners in the neighbouring area. And... I stumbled across a legendary sheepsquatch . It's a real beast; big, fast and powerful. It was fighting some mole miners but once it finished off a couple of them it made a beeline for me!

I ran ( ) and hid in the station whilst it pounded the outside wall. I dashed out and jumped onto the roof as it couldn't reach me up there. I then fired at it but my bullets (from both a shotgun and a rifle .308) were hardly doing any damage at all; my guns were no match for that kinda beast. In the end I had to fast-travel away. It was quite an experience!

After that, I started building a new camp. It's in a familiar forest location but, hey, I'm not gonna worry too much about that. I'm using bricks for the walls and that's making a nice change; they offer much darker tones. Hope to get it finished tomorrow morning.

I returned to a familiar spot in the Forest area and built a new place using my fourth camp slot. The design is nothing extraordinary - a wee bit boxy, really - but it still turned out okay and looks cosy. At the moment I'm really into using those metal grid (prison) walls as security by the door area; they look solid and create a great frame for the lights and plants.

I think I'm gonna tear down one of my earlier three camp slots and start a fresh build elsewhere. After building the cosy camp in the Forest, I might switch things up by traveling out to the dark and grime of the Ash Heap!

I really like the illumination behind all the caged bits.

Thanks, man. The various lights available give a variety of colour shades and brightness levels; it's enjoyable just testing them out on different structures and surfaces.

Thanks, <]:^D ! If you're interested in the creative side then it's a decent game to try.

I've constructed my new camp in the Ash Heap and I'm onto the decorating stage; I hope to get it finished tonight. It's my fave realistic-but-with-lots-of-greenery ("beautiful desolation") style and I'm pretty excited about how it's going so far :toot: .

I've finished building my camp out on a new location on the Ash Heap. It's dark, grimy and desolate out here... but my camp is a little oasis :-). I gotta say again just how much I love the lighting in the game; the different areas and weather changes really do offer some incredible photo opportunities.

I traveled over to the Toxic Valley and setup camp on the river. It can be a dangerous place but - my word! - the odd dash of colour really shines against the backdrop of pollution.

I hadn't created a modern-styled camp for quite some time - I have tended to build realistic wrecks recently - but I felt like trying one out and where better than on the dark and grimy Ash Heap!

Launching September 8, Fallout Worlds adds a rotating list of Public Worlds available to all players, each with its own unique conditions from a builder’s paradise to a challenging survival-focused landscape. Fallout 1st members can also take Fallout Worlds into their own hands with Custom Worlds, granting them tools to customize a growing list of options to create Worlds to call their own.

My new CAMP is built around an old truck that I discovered on the Ash Heap. You can hop in the back to buy stuff from the vendor machine and access the cab area from inside the camp. This took ages to setup just right; a lot of building, demolishing and re-building! I'm pleased with how it turned out and will probably keep this place for a while.

I've setup camp out on the river. I made sure that the place is protected and secure... but that doesn't mean you can't have a dash of colour.

I've created a new homestead on the dark, smoky Ash Heap and I'm purifying water to sell for caps.

I'm out on the Toxic Valley river in this new camp. I didn't do that much with the decorating but I like the shape and location of the build.
