I've been invited to a fancy dress party with the theme of "character from a tv series." Sadly after putting no effort into thinking up anything, I'm still all out of ideas.

Any stupid/sensible/helpful ideas?

I once went as House. Had some tic tacs for his medication, got a cane from a charity shop, and put some old trainers on with some jeans and a jacket that had seen better days.

For you, I suggest this guy:

Jell your hair, put some blue scrubs on, and be John Dorian.

Or just put some tatty clothes on and only say Hodor, saves on the conversation aspect too.

Buy one of those clear plastic raincoats, wear it on top of a suit and go as Hannibal.

Just turn up with some lottery tickets, the latest mobile phone, a packet of fags and some tattoos. You will be playing a character from Benefits Street. *

Breaking bad in chemical suits

I did Fred Flintstone once, pretty easy-just wore shorts and blue tie with a cheap orange pole shirt I'd bought and cut up and drawn black triangles on

Need a picture or general description to get proper suggestions.

I dressed as Mankind once for a wrestling themed night and while it was pretty cool being the centre of attention the costume was a nightmare. The mask was so uncomfortable and I had to drink through a straw all night.
