I want to hear more about Tin Opener. Tin wouldn't have got far without Can.

The strawberry float are those cheap imitations of the Mr. Kipling classic?

There's not even any white/chocolate icing stripes on them.

4/10, would not eat.

To be fair not a great deal that isn't for professional use or a long and well honed skill that would otherwise be my career, like guitar, but that sort of thing goes way up and over what I have spent in the past (under 1k).

I've always been extremely frugal with my purchases, it had to be very well justified and not merely a convenience purchase. I didn't have a big allowance or anything like that, actually in terms of total income (my parents split up) it was extremely tight.

My brother is a luthier and his first classical guitar is basically the same as one of the world's best luthiers (his teacher). It is probably worth somewhere between 1 and 2k but it is priceless as it was made more with blood sweat and tears than any kind of monetary figure and its truly one of a kind.

I also like to restore things, so for instance I have a set of antique chisels mostly from one English maker that cost about £5 each and I've honed them to a razor edge and mirror finish by hand. The full set once finished should be worth a few hundred but I use them for woodwork. I'd much rather covet and use such things.

"It should be common sense to just accept the message Nintendo are sending out through their actions."

I own 2 VR headsets (although I don't use my quest 1 anymore, keeping it just incase!) and full body tracking for VR. I'd class that as fancy I guess.
