Among other things, but I must admit I have been somewhat disappointed in the performance of the primary unit...

It may not have been especially interactive in the wake of Half-Life, but it was intriguing and atmospheric nonetheless. :D

That is truly excellent. However, I wasn't a PC gamer back then, and seeing it years later, when it has been copied to death, ruins the impact for me.

Recently I though Dead Space had a cracking opening. Being in that ship travelling through warp speed, then suddenly you come out and the view is just, well, stunning. Actually the first hour or so of that game is just fantastically paced.
